Fall at ETSU

When I worked for the Tennessee Department of Education from 2000-2004, one of my biggest regrets is that I did not take enough pictures of my travels, or write down the stories and connections that might snapshot wonderful Tennesee moments. Now that I've rejoined TDE- traveling as much as I did before....- I've been given a second chance.  So, here are those random pics, thoughts, and connections.

ETSU Music Department is alive and well everywhere on campus. It is not unusual to walk through campus and see the many students carrying their instruments on their backs or in their hands. One of the most wonderful parts of the campus is to see those many skilled musicians playing solo or practicing together. These young men let me film their practice this evening. ETSU should brag about their music program

TTrekking my way across campus to meet Dean Hal Knight, the sites and smells of fall were everywhere. The bright warmth of the sun on a fall horizon is something to experience with the multicolors of fall trees. Included here are a couple of the shots I was able to take post meeting late afternoon. Although the Reece Museum is currently being renovated, there is much to see throughout the campus. ETSU Arts on Campus has a listing of events and information on some of the art found throughout the campus.
